Server types

For example, you want to sell a server with following characteristics

  • Xeon E3 1231
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 2 SATA disks, 1000GB each

Make sure it can be accessed via IPMI

To allow the billing system to manage this server automatically, navigate to Settings - Server types

Add a new server type - E3-1231-8G-2x1000SATA. This is an internal name for our tariff plan.

Navigate to Settings - Global settings

Select the "Check before releasing" check box - when a server is released by the billing panel, it will be automatically checked. You should also select the "Clear disks" check box not to allow a new user to see data that belongs to another user.
